Easy installation, quickly completed

What makes ROND so innovative is its fast installation technology. The implementation of ROND only consists of one installation phase instead of three. ROND does not have to be stuck to the wall, but is completely mechanically fixed. How? By tightening the screws of the socket or the switch. This will widen the installation sleeve, so that the socket or switch is immediately fixed in the wall. This guarantees a time saving of 60%.

Hardware and IoT

To convert an abstract idea into a tangible product, hardware must be provided. This was developed by Lemon, ranging from plastic parts and metal conductive parts to a printed circuit board (PCB). In addition, the ROND switches are also equipped with an Enocean module, so that the switch itself generates power when you push it. The amount of power is just enough to send a signal to the actor, which ensures that a lamp can be switched on or off.

Eye for design

Lemon turned this abstract idea into a concrete reality. In addition to a stylish design, you also have the option of choosing the switches or sockets entirely to your taste. You can personalize the ROND color rings so that they fully fit into your interior.

Lemon was also responsible for ROND’s branding. Ranging from the design of the switches and sockets, the website and animated instruction videos, to exhibition walls and the design of the packaging. Shortly: design and development from A to Z.
