Multipharma as a matchmaker between pharmacists and customers

The purpose of Multipharma was to build a smartphone application that connects pharmacies and their customers in a reactive way. In addition, they also wanted to implement some functionalities for better client compliance. An e-commerce functionality was also provided for this.

The purpose of the first release was a fast time-to-market and implementation of all functions of the previous app. A previous app already existed, but it did not meet the expectations of Multipharma.

A better customer guidance

The app was built in three phases. In the first phase, the functionalities of the existing application were transferred. We chose to work with a React Native Framework and the minimum requirements of the application were determined. This allows users to find and contact all 273 pharmacies through the app. At a second release, new features were added such as a medication schedule customized to the patient. Thereafter this was visualized in a personal calendar for the patient and the prescribed medication was mentioned. In the final phase, an e-commerce option was added to the app that allowed the patient to order his medication through the application.

Thanks to the app that Lemon built for Multipharma, there is a better communication and follow-up between the pharmacist and the customer. In addition, guidance is provided from order to use of the medication.
