The CRG (Center for Reproductive Medicine) is a leading institution at UZ Brussel, specializing in fertility treatments. The service helps women and couples with reduced fertility fulfil their wish to have children. Because the CRG welcomes patients from around the world, it was decided to work with Lemon to develop an application that optimizes the patient experience. In this app, patients can view important information, such as prescription medications, scheduled appointments and direct communication with doctors, making their journey clearer and more enjoyable.
Since the CRG is highly regarded internationally, they also receive many foreign patients who do not reach them through the usual domestic channels and often have difficulty finding their way around. That's why they wanted to develop an app that acts as a personal guide for patients and guides them through their journey.
Lemon mapped out the entire patient journey for CRG and optimized both onboarding and follow-up flows. Our designers analyzed the required functionalities for the app and created a UX/UI design that supports patients during their journey at CRG and simplifies the follow-up of their appointments. Our developers developed the mobile application and ensured that it was fully integrated with the CRG backend. Of course, the security and protection of patient data was key here.

Because CRG receives a large number of international patients, it was essential to develop a user-friendly app that is available in multiple languages. The app has been designed with a focus on simplicity and intuitive navigation, so patients from different backgrounds can easily access the information they need. The design ensures that users can quickly find what they're looking for, whether they're using the app for the first time or working with it regularly.
