Lemon developed a fully customized webshop for GPC Ireland, which integrates seamlessly with their existing ERP system. This modernization has resulted in faster loading times, intuitive navigation and a significantly improved user experience.
A B2B webshop differs significantly from a B2C webshop, which requires a design that is specifically tailored to the needs of business customers. In this development, all B2B-specific requirements were translated into a user-friendly UI design. The webshop was seamlessly integrated with the existing ERP system via an intermediate layer, which is essential for efficiently managing customer data and orders. An important requirement was the high performance of the webshop, especially because the calculated prices that are shown to customers vary and must be calculated in real time. Within six weeks, the fully customized webshop with all desired functionalities was put live.
