Usability testing for a better user experience and higher conversion
Want to know how real users experience your app, website or digital product? With usability testing, we identify usability issues, pain points and opportunities for improvement. This helps you make targeted improvements and optimise your digital product for a better user experience.

What does it mean for you?

With user testing, you see how users actually interact with your digital product. You discover where they hesitate, get stuck, make mistakes or drop off. This gives you a clear view of what works well and where your product can be improved.
By testing your product early, you can identify problems before they become costly or time-consuming to fix. This helps you avoid unnecessary changes and make more informed decisions throughout the development process. The result is a digital experience that is easier to use and better aligned with what your users need.
How we approach testing your digital product
- Define the objectives: We determine what we want to learn or validate. This could involve a specific user flow, feature, interface or prototype.
- Select the right users: We identify which users are relevant to the test and make sure participants match your target audience and the intended use case.
- Create realistic tasks: We translate the test objectives into concrete tasks that reflect situations users may encounter in practice.
- Observe users: Users perform the tasks while we observe how they navigate, where they hesitate, which mistakes they make and where they get stuck.
- Analyse the findings: We identify recurring issues and notable patterns. This makes it clear which obstacles users encounter and which ones should be prioritised.
- Define improvements: We translate the findings into concrete recommendations and priorities. This helps you understand which changes can have the greatest impact on the user experience.
- Improve and test again: We implement the most important improvements and test the solution again. This allows us to see whether issues have been resolved and identify any further opportunities for improvement.

From observation to concrete improvements
User testing shows you what happens when people actually use your digital product. We turn our observations into clear findings and prioritised improvements, so you know what is going wrong, why it is happening and what you can improve.

User testing can be conducted in different ways, for example moderated or unmoderated, on-site or remotely. The right approach depends on your goals, target audience and the stage of your product. This allows us to gather in-depth feedback or quickly collect input from multiple users, whether you're testing new concepts or existing digital products.
The right number of users depends on your test goals, target audience and the level of confidence you need. For qualitative usability testing, 5 to 8 users per target group are often enough to identify recurring issues and patterns. If you want to validate findings quantitatively, a larger group is needed. We determine the number of participants based on what you want to learn or validate.
User testing is valuable at every stage of the development process. During the concept phase, it helps you explore ideas and test assumptions. In the design phase, you can evaluate solutions and prototypes. Before development, it can be used to validate key flows and features, and after launch to identify areas for improvement. By testing early and at different stages, you can avoid costly changes later and improve your product step by step.
